Week two | Climate Change and Sustainability focus month
Posted on Monday, 10 August 2026 under Sustainability,
Welcome to the second week of ANZCO’s Climate Change and Sustainability focus month.
This week we’re focusing on our second CC&S pillar, ‘reducing the environment’s impact on us’.
Carbon calculator competition
Check how much carbon you’re using, and you’ll go in the draw to win:
- First place: Nakie two-in-one double insulated cooler and coffee cup
- Second place: Two Raw Sisters cookbook
- Third place: Dishcloth, glass spray bottle, compostable pot scrubber, and reusable tote bag
Entry is simple:
- Take the carbon footprint quiz and find your carbon footprint – that’s how many tonnes of CO2 each year your daily activities produce.
- Email your name, site, and a screenshot of your quiz result to sustainability@anzcofoods.com
That’s it – you’re in the draw! Entries close 5pm Friday 14 August.
Five Star Beef’s kiwi ingenuity
The FSB team shared this snap with us last week – they repurpose old jeans to make eye patches for animals with eye infections.
It’s a great example of reusing what we have and giving old (but still good!) things a new life.
Well done to the FSB team!
Watch, listen, and read
Today we’re sharing some documentaries, podcasts, and series that may be of interest if you want to learn more about climate change, how it affects us, and why it matters.
