ANZCO Foods CEO Update - July 2025

Posted on Tuesday, 15 July 2025 under CEO Updates,

As we settle into the depths of another New Zealand winter, I hope this message finds you well – and you’re keeping warm. Across the country, conditions have been varied to say the least, with some regions facing extreme wet and chilly days, that reminds us how critical resilience is, on-farm and off.

During the next few weeks, I’m looking forward to getting out on the road and meeting many of you face-to-face at our Meat, Greet, and Eat farmer events. Together with my ANZCO colleagues Grant Bunting (GM Systems & Supply), Rick Walker (GM Sales & Marketing), and other key members of our livestock team including our livestock reps and our QA team, we’ll be in Methven, Gore, Hunterville, and Havelock North. These catch-ups are a valuable opportunity to share insights and continue building the strong partnerships that underpin our collective success. You can find out more about these events later in this update.

On a personal note, I’m also excited to meet the nine farmers who’ll be racing in the ANZCO Foods kit in March next year as part of the ANZCO Crew at IRONMAN New Zealand in Taupō. I’ll be racing alongside them and hopefully keeping up! It’s fantastic to see such a committed group stepping up to the challenge, and I know the grit and determination they bring to farming will be on full display out on the course. The announcement of the farmers who will be joining us is featured later in this update and they’ll also be named on our social media channels today.

I look forward to seeing many of you soon.
