NZFAP Standard and Handbook
The NZFAP Standard is reviewed annually to reflect national and global changes. Farmers must stay up to date to ensure compliance and certification.

Audit procedure
QCONZ is the official audit provider for NZFAP. To maintain certification, farmers are audited every three years.

NZFAP certification process

Complete and submit the NZFAP application and agreement form to ANZCO Foods’ QA team at QAadmin@anzcofoods.com. Forms are available at www.nzfap.com or by emailing the QA team.

Include additional addresses (within 20km of the home property) on the application. These must operate as one system with shared procedures and records.

Engage and implement NZFAP requirements as per the latest standard (Version 7).
- The independent audit provider will contact you to schedule your audit. Please note: there is a 4–8 week wait time after submitting your application.
- Prepare for the audit using the NZFAP pre-audit checklist. The checklist is available from the QA Team at QAadmin@anzcofoods.com
- Upon passing, your property becomes NZFAP certified. Recertification required every three years.
