Supporting Elizabeth Street Day Centre

Ashburton’s Elizabeth Street Day Centre, based in the Ashburton hospital grounds, supports local older people and enables them to live in their own homes for as long as possible. 

The centre offers social events, crafts, help with daily living skills, lunch, morning and afternoon tea, recreational activities and outings. 

ANZCO Foods Canterbury recently donated meat to the centre to use as prizes for raffles. The group is always grateful for our donations, and the site regularly receives updates from them.

Profits from the raffles are used for group outings. Some of the centre regulars are former ANZCO Foods employees who have been chuffed to win ANZCO meat in the raffles.
