Rescue helicopter stats

The Westpac Rescue Helicopter, supported by ANZCO Foods, was called out to 241 missions between July and September. To date, the Canterbury and West Coast helicopters have been called out to 806 missions so far this year. Of these missions:

• 30% were medical reasons
• 37% were accidents
• 21% were patient transfers
• 7% were search and rescue
