Meet Richard Arnott 

Leading Hand Security at ANZCO Foods Canterbury

Richard has been part of the Canterbury security team for eight years. In his role as Leading Hand Security, he supervises the site entries and exits from the security building at the front of the site, and monitors for any emergencies. He also keeps an eye on chiller blast temperatures and effluent levels.

Before coming to ANZCO, Richard worked as a paper maker/cutter at Carter Holt Harvey. Since joining the ANZCO team, he's been surprised at all the changes that have happened.

Outside of work, Richard coaches rugby at Lincoln University, and also watches his daughters play their sports. His claim to fame is that he played for the Wyndham Rugby Team - they were unbeaten for 36 games in a row, and he played every minute of those games! After a busy day making sure the Canterbury site is secure and safe, he'll watch some Jones TV - nobody else in his house watches it, so he enjoys having the TV to himself!
