Meet Balaji Leksshman
Compliance Systems Administrator at Waitara
Balaji has been at ANZCO Foods Waitara for ten months in his role as Compliance Systems Administrator. His role includes auditing the patty and jerky plants to make sure all processes and products are compliant against New Zealand regulations, and wherever else we send products around the world.
Before coming to ANZCO, Balaji worked at Oceania Dairy as a Laboratory Technician and Internal Auditor. He was also a process worker Original Foods where he baked cakes, slices, and other sweet treats for retail and wholesale.
Since coming to ANZCO he's been surprised at how friendly everyone is, and the good work culture - and also how delicious our products are! He says his claim to fame is receiving a values award for doing good work on an external audit earlier this year.
Outside of work Balaji enjoys swimming and listening to podcasts. He also has his own podcast which is all done in his native language, Tamil. To unwind after a busy day, he'll go for a swim, or watch an episode or two of an anime web series.
