Meet Patrick Maxwell

Production Trainer at ANZCO Foods Waitara

Patrick has been part of the ANZCO Foods team for seven years. He initially started out as a production worker, and he's since moved into his current role as a production trainer. His job includes training workers around health and safety, and the requirements of their role. And as if that doesn't keep him busy enough, he's also a health and safety rep, first aider, and the team leader of the overheard cleaning team - he's a bit of a jack of all trades.

Since coming to ANZCO he's been pleasantly surprised at how everyone works together. He's found there's a real family culture, where the more experienced employees mix with the newer employees and share their knowledge, and Patrick says it's been great learning off people and in turn being able to pass on what's he's learned. His claim to fame is that he's ‘world famous at ANZCO’!

Outside of work he enjoys winding down and chilling out, often going down to the beach and watching the sunset. He says there are good sunsets in Waitara, or over the Ngā Motu/Sugarloaf Islands in New Plymouth.
