Marlborough’s induction day and boning room upgrade

Marlborough’s boning room recently underwent a major upgrade. The ergonomic improvements increase efficiency, reduce heavy lifting and walking long distances, improve movement in and out of the room, and allow additional leg bones to be saved. The first carcass entered the new boning room on Monday 1 December. Thanks to the Marlborough engineers who were heavily involved in the upgrade and helped deliver a room that exceeded expectations.

Ahead of the new season, Marlborough held its annual induction day with employees. Guest speaker Dr Bex Bell, Forensic Psychologist, talked to the team and shared the ‘ABCs’ of high performance – Act with intention, Breathe to stay sharp, and Chase progress, not perfection. Employees enjoyed the talk, which was well timed as they prepared to learn to use the new boning room.
