Jacques and Steve’s Indonesia visit

Head of Food Service Steve Dickie and ANZCO Foods Waitara Site Manager Jacques Jordaan visited McDonald’s Indonesia to present a new patty, after the Indonesia team asked ANZCO Foods Waitara’s Prepared Foods to develop a value burger recipe for their market.

McDonald’s Indonesia’s in-house chef prepared a few samples of the new patty with different sauces.

The new recipe was well received by the McDonald’s team, and they’re looking at using the patty as a limited-time offering, along with building it into their 2027 marketing plan.

This visit included a meeting with HAVI in Singapore, the organisation responsible for orders and freight of McDonald’s product to Asian markets, and discussions regarding other market opportunities were held with the supply team.
