IRONMAN

It was great to see the strong ANZCO presence at the recent ANZCO Foods IRONMAN in Taupō, with participants from ANZCO Foods Kōkiri, Canterbury, Corporate, and the Livestock team all giving it everything they had.

Well done to everyone who took part and a special mention to:

  • Will Thompson, Livestock Representative, the first ANZCO 70.3 athlete across the line in 5:17:11
  • Cherie Richardson, Project Manager Consultant, the first ANZCO 70.3 female athlete, finishing in 5:41:45
  • Jacob Moore, Producer Support Representative, first ANZCO full IRONMAN finisher in 11:05:39

ANZCO Foods ambassador Hannah Berry also delivered an outstanding performance, placing second in the professional women’s event and qualifying for the World Championships.

Finally, sincere thanks to the ANZCO support crew for the significant effort behind the scenes in coordinating travel, training, and logistics. Events like this only happen with a high level of organisation and commitment.
