Cherie competes in IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship

Congratulations to Cherie Richardson, Project Manager Consultant, who competed at the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Marbella, Spain, after qualifying in Taupō earlier this year.

The IRONMAN 70.3 includes a 1.9km swim, a 90km bike, and a 21km run. The conditions are very different to Taupō – with nearly 1,800m of elevation on the bike ride, which is around 1,000m higher than our New Zealand course.

Cherie finished the race in 7 hours and 27 minutes, placing 197th in her age group.
