Canterbury’s reasons for working safely

The Canterbury team has launched a new health and safety initiative, encouraging employees to write down their reasons for getting home safely each day. These postcards are displayed in the office as a visible reminder of why safety matters.

Supervisors, health and safety reps, first aiders, management, office staff, and the Health and Safety Governance Group have already contributed. The initiative will now be extended across the site, and rolled out to Rakaia and Ashcold, and plan to have postcards displayed at all locations.

Well done to the Canterbury Health and Safety team for driving this initiative – I look forward to seeing it rolled out to the rest of your employees.
