Introducing Onside

Today ANZCO Foods is launching an app that makes it easier for you, and us, to meet our responsibilities on-farm. 

Companies that have employees and contractors who come on to your farm have a joint health and safety responsibility with you for the areas those employees visit. 

For ANZCO Foods this means we have a joint responsibility for our livestock reps and drivers on the access road and in the yards. 

We’ve been working with Onside, an app that captures information about inductions as well as making any hazards and risks available to visitors to your farm. 

Using Onside replaces a manual system and it:

• Lets you know when someone comes on to your property
  Captures who you’ve inducted on-farm
• Lets ANZCO livestock reps and drivers know about any current risks and hazards in the yards or the access road
• Allows people to easily capture any new risks or hazards

The requirement to capture and share this information is not new; it’s just that Onside provides an easy way for us to do this. 

We’ve been using Onside on our ANZCO farms for a couple of years now and recognised it could be useful for the joint areas of responsibility on your farms. 

We’ve rolled out the app to our reps and are now making it available to farmers and transporters from today. This opportunity is fully funded by ANZCO Foods with the primary goal of getting everyone home safely.

Meet Sam and Jacob 

We’ve appointed Jacob and Sam to provide you with support in the North and South Islands, respectively. They’ll be visiting farms and helping you set up Onside.
