Taking time off farm isn’t always easy, but sometimes stepping away can be the best thing you do.
This year, nine of our ANZCO farmers did exactly that, taking on the challenge of ANZCO Foods IRONMAN New Zealand. Jake Coy, Rosie Hunter, Wade McRae, James Beattie, Kieran Hickman, Chris Thwaites, Kate Acland, Arjan Hulsman and Tony Watson committed to the journey, training hard and showing what’s possible with a bit of determination and support.
It wasn’t just about race day. It was about building routine, improving wellbeing, and being part of a group all working towards the same goal. The sense of achievement crossing that finish line in Taupō is something they won’t forget.
We’re now inviting YOU to be part of the 2027 ANZCO crew.
Whether you’re already active or just looking for a reason to challenge yourself, this is your opportunity to give it a go. You don’t need to have done anything like this before, just a willingness to get started.
Applications are now open for 2027, the package includes race entry (full or 70.3), flights, accommodation and ANZCO kit.
Entries close 15 May 2026, winners announced 31 May 2026.
