What's the Plan, Stan | Hazardous substances

We’re continuing our health and safety focus on preparing for emergencies.

Your site has several emergency plans that may be slightly different for each type of emergency. If there’s a hazardous substance spill or other emergency, you may need to evacuate.

There are emergency evacuation process signs around your site that show you where you need to go, and all emergency exits are marked with a green and white sign. Each site also has evacuation wardens who will clear the building.

Your site runs trial emergency evacuation every six months, so you know what to do in case of an emergency. If you’re unsure what you need to do, ask your health and safety advisors, health and safety reps, supervisor, or site manager.
