Wellbeing bingo and energy management | June health and safety focus

Posted on Tuesday, 2 June 2026 under Health & Safety,

Managing your energy levels is an important part of your health and safety at work and your personal wellbeing. Stress levels, sleep habits, diet, and exercise can have impacts on your ability to work and if they are not looked after can lead to exhaustion and burnout.

Wellbeing Bingo is back!

ANZCO’s Wellbeing Bingo competition is returning this June – and this time it’s built around the Heart Foundation’s recommendation of 150 active minutes each week.

Each row or column on the bingo card adds up to the weekly recommended activity. Complete one row or column, and you’ve hit the weekly target. Complete four, and you’ve achieved a full month of recommended movement.

You don’t have to finish the activity in one go - for example, you might walk for 10 minutes a day for six days, and you’ll be able to tick off ‘60 minutes of walking’.

Once you've filled out four rows or columns, send a copy or photo of your sheet to comp@anzcofoods.com for a chance to win one of three ANZCO prize packs.

Entries close Friday 3 July.

Week one - eating well

A balanced diet is a great way to ensure you have plenty of energy throughout the day. Fuel your body with fruits, vegetables, carbs, and good proteins, which provide a sustained source of energy, instead of high-sugar or high-fat foods that cause a spike and then crash in your energy levels.

You don’t even have to go too far to find healthy food – ANZCO Foods’ beef and lamb is a great source of many nutrients.

Here's some safety conversation starters you can use with your colleagues:

  • What kind of meals help you feel energised during the day?
  • Have you found any go-to snacks that keep you going?
  • What’s your favourite quick and easy meal to make after work?
  • Tried anything new for lunch lately?
