Energy management | June health and safety focus
Posted on Monday, 8 June 2026 under Health & Safety,
Hydration is essential for our bodies – it helps us with our temperature regulation, digestion and even skin health. Aim to drink roughly 8-10 cups of water a day. Fizzy drinks, juice, coffee, and tea will count towards your daily fluid intake, but sugar or sweeteners and caffeine in these drinks can have other effects on your body. You may also need to drink more water if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding, in a hot environment, physically active, or unwell.
Here's some safety conversation starters you can use with your colleagues:
-
How much water are you trying to drink today?
-
What helps you remember to stay hydrated during the day
-
Have you found a drink bottle or system that works well for you?
-
How do you keep cool and refreshed when it’s hot or busy at work?
