Tasi finishes fourth at World Championship

Faleono Tasi of ANZCO Foods Rangitīkei placed fourth in the world, competing in the Open Men’s category at the World Naturals Strongman Championship in Glasgow, Scotland.

Tasi competed against 18 other athletes from around the world during the three-day competition.

Strongman competitions challenge athletes through a range of demanding events, including log presses, deadlifts and even pulling trucks or yachts, testing strength, discipline, endurance and mindset.

Tasi describes travelling to Glasgow and competing on the world stage as an “unreal experience” and says he’s proud to have finished fourth overall while representing New Zealand.

The opportunity is something he will always be grateful for, and he appreciates the support from ANZCO Foods Rangitīkei that helped make the trip possible.
