Rural schools benefit from ex-ANZCO laptops

Three years ago, ANZCO Foods partnered with our laptop lease provider, Quadrant. Through Quadrant's Green Lease programme, leased devices returned at the end of their three-year cycle are refurbished, with 20% being donated to schools.

Following the recent return of our first batch of laptops, Quadrant advised that 75 refurbished devices were available for ANZCO to donate.

After inviting nominations from our site managers, three rural schools have been selected to each receive 25 laptops: Kaponga Primary School in Taranaki, Colyton School in Feilding, and Rai Valley Area School in Marlborough. We are now working with Quadrant to ensure each school receives devices configured to suit its Google or Windows operating environment.

This is a fantastic initiative by Quadrant, giving a second life to quality technology while helping schools access equipment that can make a real difference to teaching and learning. Recipient schools have been thrilled with the donations and we're proud to be able to support these communities through the programme.
