Rugby balls donated to Samoan schools

ANZCO has donated rugby balls to four schools in Samoa, located in the hometowns of some of our seasonal offshore workers.

Mulifanua Primary School, Utualii Primary School, Falialili College, and Lotofaga Primary School each received ANZCO-branded rugby balls for their students to enjoy.

Lotofaga Primary School has a particularly strong rugby connection, with former students including the Tuilagi brothers, as well as several players who have gone on to play for the All Blacks and in Super Rugby.

Some of the primary schools previously had no rugby balls, while others had only a small number of well-used balls, so the new ones have been very well received. It was great to be able to support communities that are home to some of our seasonal team members.
