Meet Ricky Engelberger

Maintenance Fitter at Eltham

Ricky is a Maintenance Fitter at ANZCO Foods Eltham. He plays an important role in keeping the site running smoothly. He starts work early to get machines up and running before production begins and helps fix any machinery issues during the day. He also works on projects to improve equipment and make production more efficient, and works alongside contractors during maintenance shutdowns.

Before joining ANZCO, Ricky worked in dairy farming. He started at Eltham on the slaughter floor before training as a meat inspector with AsureQuality. When the opportunity to become a Maintenance Fitter came up, he took it - he enjoys keeping busy and having problems to solve, so it’s a perfect fit.

Outside of work, Ricky is passionate about dirt bikes. Two of his sons compete in races, and Ricky helps by maintaining their bikes and supporting them at events. After work, he enjoys riding with his kids or relaxing at home with his family.
