Meet Miley Tran

Production Worker at Waitara

Miley has been part of the team at ANZCO Foods Waitara for the past three years, working on the jerky production line.

Her role involves setting up the conveyor belt, placing marinated meat onto trays and loading the trays onto trolleys, and helping keep production running smoothly.

Before moving to New Zealand and joining ANZCO, she worked in office administration. While the work is very different, she has settled into her role here well. One of the biggest adjustments has been the weather. Coming from Vietnam, she found New Zealand much colder than she was used to, but says having heaters certainly helps. She also appreciates the friendly people she's met since joining the team.

Outside work, she enjoys cooking and listening to music. She is married, and her husband also works at ANZCO Foods Waitara in the Production Room.
