Meet Bach Lene

Coldstore Worker at Canterbury

After 15 years at ANZCO Foods, Bach Lene is a familiar face in the Coldstore team, where he works as a Chiller Worker.

His role involves checking cartons for leaks on the lamb checking table, strapping and scanning cartons, and operating forklifts, which helps keep product in the Coldstore organised and ready for loadout.

In addition to his day-to-day responsibilities, Bach is also a Health and Safety Representative. In this role, he carries out weekly checks, attends health and safety meetings, and acts as a point of contact for Coldstore staff who have any health and safety concerns or issues they would like raised.

Outside of work, Bach enjoys spending quality time with his family, and getting in a bit of exercise. After a busy day, he likes nothing better than relaxing on the couch with the remote in hand, doing a bit of channel surfing and enjoying some popcorn while he unwinds.
