Japan farmer tour

The Livestock Quality Assurance team recently hosted more than 20 farmers on a trip to Japan through the Farm-to-Farm Tours programme.

The group visited restaurants and supermarkets that sell ANZCO Foods beef and lamb and visited Japanese farms, as well as checking out a few iconic Japanese sights like the Shibuya Crossing and ANZCO Foods’ Wakanui Restaurant next to the Tokyo Tower. The tour gave farmers the opportunity to see first-hand where their products end up and to learn more about Japanese consumers and farming practices.
