Darryl and Geoff visit Auskin

General Manager Operations Darryl Tones and Co-Products Manager Geoff Murdoch visited the Auskin factory in Beijing this week, seeing first-hand where lamb skins from ANZCO Foods Canterbury are transformed into high-value consumer products.

Auskin purchases lamb skins and processes them for use in a range of products supplied to IKEA and other home goods brands.

The visit to Auskin was part of a wider trip to China to attend the Shanghai Leather Fair, visit key contacts and customers, and strengthen relationships across the co-products sector in China and Mongolia. These relationships and market insights are important in helping identify opportunities to maximise the value of co-products and ensure more value is captured from every animal we handle.
