After a nail-biter final that went into overtime, Spain is the 2026 FIFA World Cup champion, with Argentina as the runner-up.

Final result: Spain 1-0 Argentina

Ferran Torres scored the only goal of the match for Spain, marking his 25th international goal.

Kylian Mbappé is the Golden Boot of the World Cup, with 10 goals under his belt. Lionel Messi comes in second with 8 goals, and Jude Bellingham and Erling Haaland are tied for third with 7 goals each.
